The evil eye bead, sometimes also known as nazar or hamsa (among other names), is a bead or amulet used to ward off evil spirits and protect the wearer from them. It has origins in many middle Eastern & Meditteranean cultures. Today, it is often used decoratively, but also carries protective significance. 
 
The evil eye pendant hangs from delicate 14k gold-filled paperclip chain, along with 7 faceted stones (either lapis lazuli or amazonite) which will catch the light and create subtle movement on your neck throughout the day. Choose your color and stone from the menu. Amazonite pendant is enamel and gold-plated; lapis pendant is glass and gold-plated. 
 
Measures 18" and closes with a lobster clasp and 4 more wire-wrapped stones.
